FAQ- General

Do you offer mini sessions?

We offer standard mini sessions (maternity, newborn, birthday, and family) year round. Additionally, we provide seasonal mini sessions throughout the year: bluebonnet/spring, mommy & me, fall, and Christmas. Follow us on Facebook & Instagram to find out as soon as these become available.

Where do your sessions take place?

We offer studio, outdoor, and in-home session options. Our fully equipped studio is locally based in Buda, TX. Some of our options are limited to specific session types. In-home option is only offered to Signature Newborn sessions. All cake smash sessions take place in our studio.

When will I receive my gallery?

Standard turnaround is 10-14 days. If you are pressed for time, you have the option to upgrade to expedited 3 day delivery for $100. You will receive an email with your Client Gallery login information when it is ready.

Do you have location recommendations?

During our video call, we will ask you a few questions to understand your vision and specific needs to provide you with tailored suggestions.

What should we wear for our session?

Do you travel for photoshoots?

We serve Austin, Buda, Kyle, San Marcos & surrounding areas. A travel fee applies for locations exceeding a 25 mile radius from Buda, TX.

Do you offer albums or prints?

You will have an option to purchase albums and prints straight from your client gallery.

When should I book my maternity session?

We recommend scheduling your session at around 33-36 weeks. This allows you to show off your beautiful bump while still being as comfortable as realistically possible. Additionally, you will not be concerned about baby coming before you are able to capture this wonderful chapter.

I am past the recommended window. Can I still book a maternity session?

If you are further along or there is no availability, contact us for priority booking options.

You could also opt for a simple contrast, where all family members wear the same color, and you wear a distinct color that pairs well. I have PSD or Sciatica. Do you offer accommodations?

We have been there and know first hand how the pain and discomfort can get in the way. If you have any movement restrictions due to PSD or sciatica, we will curate gentle poses and select an accessible location to provide a comfortable experience.

When should I schedule my newborn session?

We ALWAYS encourage moms to take the time they need to adjust to their new lives at home, first. That being said, the ideal time to schedule your newborn session is within 5-14 days from baby's birth because baby is still very sleepy, and it lends itself to a smooth, dreamy session.

What happens if I give birth sooner/later?

We understand babies have their own timeline. Contact us if you need to adjust your session so that it occurs within the first 2 weeks of birth.

My baby is past the recommended window. Can we still book a newborn session?

Absolutely, we photograph babies up until 3 weeks old. You can still get beautiful results. We may capture baby while calm and awake for some bright eyed photos.

What can I expect during my newborn session?

Our sessions are baby-led to prioritize their need for safety, warmth, and comfort. This means, we do not rush their poses. If baby is fussy, our priority is to soothe. Our sessions intentionally provide ample time for feedings, diaper changes, and calm transitions.

What should we wear for our session?

when do i book?

Schedule your session to take place at about 11 months old. This allows turnaround time for editing, printing, and delivery of your heirloom. Just in time to proudly display it on your little one's first birthday celebration!


Do schedule your session around your child's wake window. We want them to feel rested, energized, and ready to celebrate!
